Applications initialize this structure to encapsulates all information needed by cru library functions for comparison among edges and vertices in a graph. The v_order field is for comparison of vertices and the e_order field is for comparison of edge labels. Each field has the usual interpretation as a cru_order structure.
The cru_order_pair structure is a field in the cru_sig structure and cru_mutator top level structure. The cru_sig structure is a field in the cru_builder, the cru_crosser, and the cru_fabricator top level structures.
When a cru_order_pair structure is the orders field in a cru_sig structure whose destructors field specifies a NULL vertex destructor, cru infers a scalar vertex type and therefore a corresponding default v_order field if it is omitted. A similar convention applies to the e_order field.
